A long time R&B/Soul music critic, L. Michael Gipson has been the Music Editor at SoulTracks.com since 2008 and a SoulTracks senior writer since 2006. He's also served for five years as the Soul/R&B reviewer for Creative Loafing ATL. He currently is a feature writer for Swerve Magazine and an Associate Editor at Lambda Literary. With degrees in Fine Arts and Education Media/Instructional Design, he is without question the total art nerd.
